We STILL get asked these questions often; 'Should women even be lifting weights?' 'Is it actually even good for us?' 'Will I end up big and bulky from lifting weights?'
Hell, on the weekend, I was told that my autoimmune disease is caused by my 'muscle building'!
It's not their fault for asking these questions and making these statements. Women have only been invited into the weights room in the past 50 years. In fact, women only started competing in weightlifting at the Olympics for the first time in the year 2000!

Training, weight training specifically, it's one of the most empowering parts of your life. And it should be a part of your life. I've been lifting weights since I was 16 years old. It's gifted me strength, confidence, ability, good posture and so much more.
Let's change our perception for the next generation. To do something 'like a girl' is to do something the way WE do it.
