Crossfit Kids and Teens

The CrossFit Contessa Kids and Teens program is a core strength and conditioning program for children 4-16 years old.

We aim to teach safe, functional movement through a range of different activities including games, obstacle courses and gymnastics, to name a few. This type of training helps to develop a broad range of fitness components such as endurance, strength, flexibility, balance and coordination - disguised as fun! These skills carry over to other sports; both team and individual.

As well as developing important physical skills, we also teach our Contessa Kids and Teens about confidence, self love and the development of a positive mindset through our classes, which gives them the tools they need to conquer any obstacle they may encounter at school or in life.

Our CrossFit Kids program runs on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon, for 8 weeks (week 2 - 9 of each school term).

About the Coaches

Hannah is our Kids Coach for ages 4 -7. From the age of 4 herself, Hannah has participated in a wide range of sports shaping her into a Coach that wants to help kids understand the impacts of being challenged in a positive environment. Hannah’s background in sport has not only given her an understanding of a healthy lifestyle, it now motivates her to help kids of all ages and abilities experience the same. Hannah wants to help your child see what they are truly capable of, all through safe, functional and fun movement and watch their confidence grow.

Vicki's fitness journey began when she commenced competitive artistic gymnastics as a child. It was a natural progression to begin coaching this strength-based sport as a young adult.

Vicki discovered CrossFit in 2017, here she found her experience as a Mother of 5, a gymnastics coach and her passion for fitness could be combined to help children & young adults pursue achievable health goals.

With her background in coaching gymnastics, Vicki Specifically enjoys working with younger athletes. Here she has created a space for children and teens to reach their full potential uncovering strengths and building confidence through safe movement and purposeful training.
